Dr. Bashir Mobasher, the President of ALPA and a lecturer at American University and New York University, discusses the current situation in Afghanistan in this episode of Real Talks with Sadeq Amini. He talks about the Taliban's governance structure, the various forms of discrimination in Afghanistan, the human rights situation in Afghanistan, and the role of the international community in Afghanistan. Dr. Mobasher insists that Afghans should unite and rely on their own potentials, resources and creativity to resist the Taliban than to rely heavily on foreign support. He also discusses the various forms of discrimination in Afghanistan, including gender discrimination, ethnic discrimination, and religious discrimination. Dr. Mobasher highlighted the human rights situation in Afghanistan and the role of the international community in Afghanistan. He argues that the international community has a responsibility to support the Afghan people in their struggle against the Taliban although he has little confidence in their motives and support.
